Actor - Summary

I've been earning my living as a professional actor since 1978 with starring roles on television, stage and radio, supporting roles in movies, one of the top voice artists in London and I've been playing David Archer in BBC4's The Archers since 1982.

2017 I starred in a surreal short film, 'The Dead Dog' as The Duke.

2016 I open the movie 'Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them'

2012 Ttitle role, 'The Turn' allowed me to use the Yorkshire genes inherited from my mother, as failed alcoholic, Northern stand-up comic, Stanley Kovack.

2011 Title role in a fabulous film for the NFTS, 'The Pride of Wade Ellison', a half hour, big budget western in which basically I get to play Clint! Gunfights...

...and horses. Pure bliss!

THEATRE: In 2018 I played the PM, Adam Masters in the new comedy 'Brexit' at the Pleasance Theatre, Edinburgh, and the King's Head, Islington

Before that, Frank in 'Educating Rita' at the Watermill Theatre, Newbury.

and toured my one man show, 'Love Your Chocolates'!
